Laurence Dutton Photography & Moving Image
Challenge
Having completed Laurence's rebrand we were asked to design and develop a new website that would showcase his range of photography and video projects. There is always the danger of being too quirky when dealing with simplicity, Laurence was adamant he wanted a simple solution that displayed his work to its full potential.
Solution
We approached his website as a blank canvas on which to present his best work. We used a simple 8 column grid, only highlighting the letters in the logo to represent each section. As with any artist the proof is always in the pudding so the website had to be simple enough not to distract from the work on display. Less is (almost) always more. The website has a full content management system and is optimised for SEO purposes.
