May updates
What a busy month...
New blood:
We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new designer Matt. After a long interview process we have finally found the man for the job, and we like to think he has found a home here at Ascend.
Hair salon rebrand:
We have been commissioned to rebrand Francesco Picardi Hair Salons – an organic / natural products based independent hair salon chain in London. Early stages but visuals are not far away.
TORI Global IT consulting and resourcing:
Having worked in the world of recruitment for some time now, helping companies such as Green Park, Canary Wharf and City and NBI, we have recently been commissioned to undertake another exciting brand and website project for TORI Global. The project focuses on structuring the company’s core practice offerings and addressing top-level core brand issues such as visual and literal brand messaging and tone of voice. This will also roll out into a range of communications materials including HTML emails and printed sales packs and product sheets etc.
Not too close for comfort:
We have also been chosen to complete a series of brochures for The Close Care Home (I did say it's been a busy month...!) – a luxury care and retirement home set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. The name of the home lends itself perfectly to a concept based around "Close to..." (nature, luxury, home etc...), which we have used as a structural idea for the information in the brochures.
And finally...
We have just completed a branding project for Meet The Real Me, an online recruitment company specialising in online video CVs. We have packaged their core offering as en “e-me”. With a nod towards the world of social networking, we have developed a logo that reflects that online comms feel and also conveys the USPs of their service with its video shaped speech bubble (we call it a “v-bubble”). The logo is below but the full project will be appearing in our branding section soon.
